Just listened to the whole thing (Both parts) and while there is great information, the key narrative that they all talked about but did not get to was the vision laid out by George Lakoff and further discussed in nearly all that I have written.

That is a vision of what are the three key Socialized values and how does everything they talked about in all those speeches flow from them. Built into that also is exactly what a group activity is and who accomplishes the task.

The Conservative vision is the Heroic Leader who accomplishes all that happens while the folk actually doing the work are merely his chorus to sing his praises and thank him for having a job.

Instead the Progressive vision is one where there is a shared effort where that heroic leader is simply the hired agent of the employees who's "heroics" is one of not embezzling all the goodies and sticking them with the costs in life, health, and destroyed environment.

Until that basic change happens Progressives will face an uphill fight for the first base of having everyone see their policies as an obvious natural result of logic and not a scatter shot of resentment for being on the losing end of the Conservative vision.
